2Indoor Winter Yardley Farmers Market

The Yardley Farmers Market (indoor) is open from 9 – 11:30 am, and you can get fruits and veggies, plants, eggs, organic meats and poultry, pastured beef, mushrooms and wine. They also have artisan chocolate, artisan bakery, gluten-free bakery, local roasted coffee and loose leaf tea, olive oil and balsamic vinegars, herbs, and much more.

5Perkasie Fire Hall Breakfast

The menu includes all your favorites: eggs, pancakes, waffles, sausage, bacon, scrapple, home fries, onions and mushrooms. Adults are $8, children ages four to 12 are $3.50 and ages three and under are free. Support a local fire department with a good meal this weekend!

If you can’t make it to Perkasie, try out the Riegelsville Fire Company for a firehouse breakfast with all the fixings: ham, eggs, sausage, scrapple, omelets, creamed dried beef on toast, pancakes, and more. Chef Josh Homacki will create a wonderful, seasonally inspired meal for us in this intimate dining space. If you haven’t been to the Inn’s restaurant yet, mark your calendar. The Farm Cooking School (Saturday, April 7, 6 pm)  Save the date for a five-course meal sourced from Roots to River Farm and other nearby farms. Chefs Ian Knauer and Shelley Wiseman will also demonstrate some of the dishes before we eat!
