Fresh local milk on sale

Milk from Shady Brook Farm

Ever wonder what real milk tastes like? You’re in luck; Bucks County has some great dairy farms, and places like Shady Brook Farm have fresh, glass-bottled milk for sale. It’s hormone free, creamy and delicious!

If you notice milk prices going up (and up) at chain grocery stores, consider shopping at the farm: half-gallon of whole, 2%, and skim milk are now just $2.60 (from $2.99), and half-gallon of their chocolate milk has been reduced to $2.99 (from $3.99). During the month of February, you can also get 50% off produce when you buy glass bottled milk.

National Sticky Bun Day

Fritz's Bakery
We know that there’s a “national” holiday behind almost anything these days, but this Wednesday is National Sticky Bun Day — and that’s something we can get behind! At Fritz’s Bakery in Langhorne/Bensalem, PA you can get $2 off any dozen of sticky buns.

“You know what sticky buns taste like. Try to imagine what it smells like when 30 pans of buns are coming out of the oven at once.” — In honor of National Sticky Bun Day, here’s a look into one of the oldest sticky bun sales in the area! They will be baking them at the Central Bucks Senior Center next week, starting Tuesday, February 27.

JUST ADDED!

And now for something a little different…

Join us on Sunday, March 4 for

A Salon at Liberty Hall Pizza

Liberty Hall Pizza Collage

What is a “salon”?
A place where people discuss interesting topics of the day and enjoy each other’s company.

My father taught history and social studies to high school students for over 35 years. I was raised at a dinner table that was full of lively discussion, learning and laughter.

To this day, I love listening to intelligent people who bring me new perspectives and knowledge. And giving my two cents too, of course.

Some say that true dialogue is non-existent in America today. That may be. But we’re going to try something a little different for our next Bucks County Taste Dinner Club.

Delicious food, interesting people and fun discussion. Interested? Click here to see the topics we’ve chosen and the full menu.
