Tidbits: Seasonal cooking at The Yardley Inn

The Yardley Inn has put together a scrumptious (well, it looks really good) seasonal menu for their Zaca Mesa Wine Dinner this Thursday, May 20th at 7:00 pm.  First course will be local asparagus and egg, with Chardonnay. A Viognier will be served for the second course of softshell crab and charred and pickled ramps. Third Course is spring lamb ravioli served with a Z-Cuvee. Fourth (yes, fourth) course will be a beef sirloin with morel mushrooms and white truffles (okay, so not local) with a Z-Three wine. And the last course? sauteed local berries with hazelnuts and Yardley Inn coffee. All for $65 per person. Check out their new spring menu additions too, like tempura soft shell crab po’boy, seared scallops, leak and mushroom ragout, and tilapia, arugula and grapefruit salad. The Yardley Inn Restaurant and Bar is at 82 Afton Avenue in Yardley. You can reach them at 215.493.3800.
