Seeing green this morning? Or maybe you’re not quite awake yet like me. To be honest, I’m not a football fan but I am from Philadelphia and I’m so happy for the city. I keep thinking of my dad, who passed away 3 years ago. Wow. He would’ve been sky-high.
So maybe today you’re really not thinking about food — or just coffee. Nevermind, you will eventually be putting something other than dips and chips in your stomach. It’s a quiet week but we’ve still found a few fun things to eat and drink.
Enjoy your week! See you Thursday for Things You Gotta Do This Weekend.
2018 Winter Oyster Tasting
Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean you can’t get your hands on some succulent and well-paired oysters. It’s a bit of a trip for all you Bucks County residents, but Matt’s Red Rooster Grill in Flemington is offering its oyster tasting menu from Tuesday through Thursday this week. Start off with a chef’s tasting of oysters on ice and work your way through the tasting menu, all the way to dessert (a sweet lemon pound cake). It’s four-courses for $46 + tax and gratuity.
