8 Things You Gotta Do in Bucks County This Weekend (Feb 1 – 4)

Yes, there’s a big game coming up this weekend. Whether you’ll be watching it or not, it’s still a great excuse (excuse? who needs an excuse?) to eat some delicious local food. And, believe it or not, there are actually some really fun, non-football related events happening this weekend.

Locust Light Farm herbalist Amanda Midkiff will guide you through the basics of blending and brewing herbal teas, right at the Ferry Market in New Hope. You’ll get to blend your own tea to take home! 2Winter Seafood Fest at Matt’s Red Rooster

Sure it’s chilly, but that doesn’t mean you can’t indulge in some delicious seafood selections that will make you feel like it’s summer. Stop by Matt’s Red Rooster Grill in Flemington, NJ for a special seafood dinner, which ends this week. Picture jumbo crab cakes, surf & turf complete with truffle butter, and even mango sorbet to wrap it all up. It’s four courses for $48 plus tax and gratuity. This seafood special ends this Thursday, February 1.

For the last 3 years, Broken Goblet Brewing has put the final selection of the year’s version of Bubba’s Tea Bag, their most iconic brew, into the hands of local beer fans. Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm (Sunday, March 25, 2018) We are thrilled to once again bring the Bucks County Taste Dinner Club to the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm. Chef Josh Homacki will create a wonderful, seasonally inspired meal for us in this intimate dining space. If you haven’t been to the Inn’s restaurant yet, mark your calendar. The Farm Cooking School (Saturday, April 7, 6 pm)  Save the date for a five-course meal sourced from Roots to River Farm and other nearby farms. Chefs Ian Knauer and Shelley Wiseman will also demonstrate some of the dishes before we eat!
