Hershberger Farm

February is creeping in, and that means Super Bowl Sunday (Go Eagles!!), Valentine’s Day, and excuses to eat lots and lots of chocolates (the trick is to buy candy the day after V-day!).

Say farewell to January and hello to February — here’s hoping for less bitterly cold days! Here’s what’s on our radar this week…

Why shopping local is the way to go

Shopping small and supporting the businesses in your community not only benefits you, it benefits the local economy and the people that live in your area.

As a site that cares so much about the restaurants, wineries, farms and other small businesses in the area, we want to provide you with the best resources to make smart decisions. So here’s some #MondayMotivation for you — learn why shopping local is the way to go:

  • Here are our favorite guides for finding the best of Bucks County: BYOBs, Beer, Local Cheese makers, Farm Markets and more. Use our food guides and maps to plan your next food excursion.
  • How do you support local businesses and their fun, foodie events, when you don’t know where to begin? Every Monday and Thursday we release guides with several food events and activities, dinners and drinks, in your area. Check out our tidbits and other things you gotta do here.
