February is creeping in, and that means Super Bowl Sunday (Go Eagles!!), Valentine’s Day, and excuses to eat lots and lots of chocolates (the trick is to buy candy the day after V-day!).
Say farewell to January and hello to February — here’s hoping for less bitterly cold days! Here’s what’s on our radar this week…
Third Annual Kosher Cook-Off
This Monday, stop by Al Fresco’s at The Shoppes at Flemington, NJ for a kosher cook-off, featuring Rachel Reuben (a Chopped champion) and an award winning NJ chef. It’s hosted by Naomi Nachman from TheAussieGourmet.com. Event starts at 6:30 pm and includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and gourmet stations. It’s $36, see here for more information.
Valentine’s Day B&B Giveaway
Enter the Valentine’s Day giveaway from Hershberger Heritage Farm and you might win a two night stay for two guests in their farm’s newly renovated custom AirBnB for February 13 and 14.
What started out as an abandoned pool house on the farm has now turned into something much more. Something of usefulness with a tad of beauty and charm fit for anyone who seeks a private stay on a thriving organic farm in Bucks County, PA. Winner will be announced on Friday, February 2 so don’t delay. Enter to win here!
Tacos and Movie Night
Time to fill up on tacos, because this week is the Comfortfood & Kitchenette’s comfort food and a classic movie night. For $25 per person (plus gratuity and tax) you can enjoy endless tacos with a great flick. So, head over to Morrisville at 7 pm on Tuesday evening for some tacos served family style with chips, homemade salsas, pickled veggies.
They’re also offering up a Super Bowl menu this year, see here for more information.
Bet you’re thinking about Super Bowl food now…we’ll have an updated guide for BBQ and Super Bowl treats later this week — courtesy of Bucks County Taste!
