11 things you gotta do in Bucks this weekend (Aug 24-27)

How is it the last weekend in August already? It seems like just the other day we were finally welcoming summer, and now the nights are getting cooler, the kids are heading to school, and there’s this fall feeling in the air.

Although the season may seem like it’s coming to an end, this weekend is packed with events to keep your summer spirits high. Check out a new restaurant during the Yardley Restaurant Week, grab some BBQ favorites, and kick back and relax at your favorite waterside restaurant. The summer bounty of produce is a-plenty but the farmers markets college volunteers are dropping in numbers. That’s because they’re all headed back to school (yes, it’s really that time of year again!). If you are interested in helping your local farmers market, or perhaps one in the town over, check out our full list of farmers markets scattered around Bucks County (with some in Montgomery and Hunterdon County too). Just give them a call and see if they need the extra helping hands!

On Thursday afternoon, the Lower Makefield Farmers Market will have: Cantaloupe, corn, watermelon, lettuce, lettuce mix, spinach, tomatoes, peppers, kale, potatoes, kohlrabi, eggs, steak, beef, chicken, pork, bread, dog treats, peaches, flowers, flavored popcorn, oil, spices, pickles, jams, coffee.
