Marry delicious pizza with some of the area’s best chefs and what do you get? Liberty Hall Pizza, the new Neapolitan pizzeria in Lambertville, is hosting a “Guest Pizzaiolo” series, where guest chefs take over Liberty Hall’s pizza oven for a night and introduce one-of-a-kind specialty pizzas.
It all begins on Tuesday, February 24 with the Stockton Inn’s Chef Alan Heckman creating pizza with Bison Short Rib with Caramelized Onions, Black River Blue Cheese, Chives and Aged Balsamic Vinegar.
The series, which will take place every other Tuesday, continues on March 10 with Chefs Ian Knauer and Shelley Wiseman of The Farm Cooking School in Stockton, NJ, followed by Chef Max Hansen of Max Hansen Caterer and Max Hansen Carversville (PA) Grocery on March 24.
“I’m really excited to work with some of the top chefs in the region,” said Chris Bryan. “Most of the chefs I’ve met have either made pizza at some point in their career, or simply love pizza. I’m eager to learn from these Guest Pizzaiolos, and have some fun teaching them how to make authentic Neapolitan pizza.” The entire Liberty Hall Pizza menu will also be available along with the guest chef pizzas.
Bryan opened Liberty Hall Pizza with business partner Danny Popkin on December 20, 2014 (see our post here with some great video). The authentic, Neapolitan pizzeria serves a dozen wood-fired pizzas along with garden-fresh salads and draught root beer floats Tuesdays through Sundays for dinner only.
Liberty Hall Pizza is located inside the Canal Studios Complex at 243 North Union Street in Lambertville, New Jersey. Learn more by visiting libertyhallpizza.com.
