8 Things You Gotta Do in Bucks County This Weekend (March 15 – 18)

Even if you’re not an ounce of Irish, there’s always a reason to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Good thing the holiday falls on a weekend this year — more excuses to drink rich stouts (or how about a Guinness?), feast on corned beef and cabbage, listen to traditional Irish music, and of course, bring home a loaf or two of Irish soda bread.

Here’s what’s on our radar this weekend…cheers!

5Bucks County Brewery St. Patrick’s Day Tapping

Sat, March 17, 1 pm
Bucks County Brewery
31 Appletree Lane, Pipersville, PA

Mulley’s. Hutchinson. Sabrosa. And some Lumpy, Happy Leprechauns. The perfect combo to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
What better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this Saturday, March 17, than with the annual tapping of Bucks County Brewery’s own Mulley’s Dry Irish Stout? A good St. Paddy’s stout is all you need to celebrate the holiday (that and some soda bread of course!) The brewery will be pouring pints from a nitro tap starting at 1 pm and using this tasty stout as the foundation for two additional drinks specials:

  • Lumpy Leprechauns: It starts with a half ounce dark chocolate shot cup. To the cup, they add a nip of whiskey, a whip of their house-made Irish Cream, and it’s topped off with the Mulley’s. The concoction is then covered with a dollop of whipped cream and finished with crushed cookie sprinkles.
  • Happy Leprechauns: They start with a pint of Mulley’s Dry Irish Stout and add a shot of their house made Irish Cream.

Then at 6 pm, they’ll fire up the fire pits to keep you warm as Joe Hutchinson fires up his amplifier to play some great live music and Doylestown’s Sabrosa Taqueria rolls in to serve up their delicious tacos. See what’s on tap in the tasting room!
