Food Truck Friday

1. Food Truck Fridays at Bucks County BreweryBucks County Brewery Logo

Friday, May 8, 6 pm to 10 pm

Bucks County Brewery, 31 Appletree Lane, Pipersville, PA

Picture this: sitting at picnic tables, eating some barbecue ribs, washing them down with craft brews to the sound of live music, the 80° weather (even after the sun sets) making you feel relaxed. Sounds awesome, right? Make it a reality by heading to Bucks County Brewery for their Food Truck Fridays, this week featuring Tim’s Barbecue Food Truck and the music of Rob & Marty. Some of the beers on tap right now include HefeWeizen, Peregrine IPA, Saison with Jalapeño, Mild May Dark English Mild, Monk’s Nectar Belgian Tripel, and Coffee-Cream Stout on Nitro, plus Root Beer and Birch beer for the kids and non-beer drinkers. Bucks County Brewery also shares a space with Hewn Spirits, distillers of rum, rye whiskey, and moonshine, and if you prefer liquor, you can try some of their excellent cocktails.

Rose Bank Winery

2. UnWined Concert Series at the Market at DelVal

Friday, May 8, 6 pm to 9 pm

The Market at DelVal, 2100 Lower State Road, Doylestown, PA

Wine, ice cream, food, and music, all at once? Is it heaven I’m describing? If heaven is right on the outskirts of Doylestown, yes. Set up a picnic blanket and bring the whole family to the Market at DelVal for live music, wine tastings from Rose Bank Winery  (plus wine sold by the glass or by the bottle) for the adults, and ice cream or other frozen treats from the DelVal Creamery. Fridays through October.

Spaghetti and Tomato Sauce

3. Spaghetti Dinner at the Delaware Valley Fire Company

Friday, May 8, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

Delaware Valley Fire Company, Headquarters Road, Erwinna, PA

Spaghetti. Need I say more? Fine: big, heaping bowls of golden pasta, drenched in steaming hot tomato sauce, fresh from the kitchen. Bring the kids, bring the grandparents, bring the whole family, eat your dinner, and help your community’s volunteer fire company keeping doing what they’re doing.
