Purple and punchy

Just had one of those “doh!” moments. Chive flowers are really delicious. I’ve known for years they were edible but didn’t have the guts to chomp on one until just now, wandering out in the yard, checking on my herb garden. Spicy and oniony. Wow. Definitely going into our salads this week.
