Another Sunday in Bucks County

Just had a great breakfast at Vera’s Country Cafe in Ottsville. I had the “Fun Guy” Omelet (lots of fungi, aka, mushrooms) in it, Mark had the Cheese Steak Omelet – beef, peppers, onions and provolone, with marinara sauce on top – which was fantastic. Also loved the corned beef hash with carmelized onions. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Anthony and Vera!

Stopped off at Nockamixon to see our little sailboat, all wrapped up, safe and sound, but anxious for Spring. Driving past oWowCow Creamery, we saw the door open and a pick-up truck parked by the front, so we couldn’t resist stopping by to say hello to John and Bless, who are just back from vacation with tons to do before they open in early March. They’ve expanded into some space in the back and gotten some new equipment, which will help tremendously with production. And there may be other developments on the horizon…

On the way home we pulled into Crossroads Bake Shop to pick up cheesecake and biscotti for dessert tonight. Mark is making lasagne (yum) and we are having a nice “Sunday Dinner” with friends.

What are you doing tonight? Cooking? Going out? Do tell…
