A chicken barbecue with drinks and entertainment to support the Upper Bucks Alliance for Creative Expression (UBACE). Bonus: the chicken is gluten free!

2. “Knock Out” hunger with BKO! Hunger

Friday, July 24 – several shifts

According to United Way Bucks County, 1 in 10 residents and 15% of all children in Bucks County are considered “food insecure.” That’s why each year, United Way holds a huge food and donation drive called BKO! Hunger (Bucks Knocks Out Hunger) where more than 100,000 meals are packed and distributed to food pantries and senior centers by the willing hands of volunteers. You can help your friends and neighbors in need by donating your time to help pack by signing up here, or make a monetary donation by clicking here.

3. Nana’s Cookies 9th Annual Bake Sale

11 am to 3 pm on Sunday, July 26 at Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley, PA

Alyssa Lewanowicz’s Nana, Florence Dienno, was taken by MS nine years ago. Ever since then, Alyssa has been selling Nana’s Sugar Cookies, made with her secret recipe, to honor her memory. Proceeds go to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America and all donations receive a free entry into a gift basket. Cookies are $5 per plate.
