This Mother’s Day, go above and beyond for the special mom in your life. Flowers and gifts are nice, but why not go out for a fancy brunch or dinner? There are lots of places around Bucks and Hunterdon that are prepared to pamper your mom with a great meal and drinks, too.

Mother’s Day in Bucks County
Black Bass Hotel (Lumberville): Enjoy a Mother’s Day brunch at the Black Bass Hotel. It’s a prix fixe menu for $45 per person, served from 10 am – 2:30 pm. The dinner menu will be a prix fixe of $69.50, served from 4:30 – 8:30 pm.
Enjoy signature dishes like their Charleston Meeting Street Crab, their cream of wild mushroom soup, and their lemon meringue tart. Call 215.297.9260 to make a reservation.
Caleb’s American Kitchen (Lahaska): Celebrate mom with a three-course brunch at Caleb’s American Kitchen from 9 am – 2 pm. It includes a BYO Bloody Mary & Mimosa bar. Just bring your own vodka and champagne and they’ll provide the rest. Prices will reflect accordingly, and kids 10 and under eat for $14. They will also be open for dinner from 4 -8:30 pm a three-course menu for $45 per person, kids ages 10 and under eat for $15.
Fancy Fig Cafe and Catering (Wrightstown): Fancy Fig Cafe will have a delicious Mother’s Day brunch (we had it on Easter. Yum.) complete with a BYO Bloody Mary bar. Call 267.396.6905 for more information.
Fisher’s Tudor House (Bensalem): Fisher’s Tudor House is accepting reservations for a Mother’s Day dinner on Sunday, May 14. Call 215.244.9777 to reserve your spot.
Golden Pheasant Inn (Erwinna): The Golden Pheasant Inn is having a festive Mother’s Day brunch and dinner. The brunch is a $45 prix fixe menu, which includes a glass of sparkling wine, soup or a salad du jour and a dessert. All of their free range brown eggs are sourced from Dark Hollow Hens Farm. Dinner is available a la carte, with menu items like salmon and roasted potatoes, seared Maine Day Boat scallops, and Lancaster County lamb shank. You can find the menu here.
Karlton Cafe (Quakertown): Karlton Cafe is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch from 8 am – 4 pm on Sunday. Reservations are recommended so call 215.538.8353. It’s also BYOB.
James A. Michener Art Museum (Doylestown): The James A. Michener Art Museum will host a Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 14. Featuring cuisine prepared by Catering By Design, the buffet-style brunch will be presented at two seatings at 11 am and 1:30 pm. The buffet will include carving and omelet stations, French toast and waffles, salads, pasta, smoked fish with all the trimmings, bagels, and pastries. A complimentary mimosa (for those over 21) and iced tea will be provided for each guest. The per-person price includes museum admission as well as all taxes and gratuities. La Stalla (Newtown): La Stalla restaurant is taking reservations for their Mother’s Day buffet-style brunch beginning at 10 am, with the last seating at 2:15 pm. Dinner will begin at 4 pm. Call 215.579.8301 for reservations.
Lumberville General Store (Lumberville): This cozy cafe just across the road from the Black Bass, is a lovely spot for Mother’s Day Brunch. They will be serving a 3 course brunch from 9 am to 3 pm for only $19.95 per person. The General Store will also be offering their regular Supper Club on Saturday and Sunday, May 13 and 14, 6 – 8 pm, for $24.95 per person. For menu details, click here.
Wycombe Publick House (Wycombe): The Publick House is now taking reservations for its Mother’s Day brunch buffet on Sunday, May 14. Call 267.491.5095 to make reservations.
Rising Sun Inn (Telford): The Rising Sun Inn is having a Mother’s Day brunch and dinner this year. Call 215.721.6350 to make your reservation, and view the full menu here.
Sand Castle Winery (Erwinna): Sand Castle Winery is hosting a Sunday brunch brought to you by Joey G’s Gourmet Catering. Your ticket includes brunch buffet, a glass of your favorite wine, and a souvenir glass. Seating times are from 10:30 am until 3 pm. Tickets cost $49.95 per person, $24.95 for children ages six to 12, and children ages five and under are no charge.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and they are non-refundable. Also, tickets will not be mailed; just give your name at the door. Contact the event coordinator via email or call 610.294.8303 to reserve your seating time. You may be seated with other parties.
Washington House (Sellersville): The Washington House is having a Mother’s Day champagne brunch, and a Mother’s Day dinner. The brunch includes a basket of breads, choice of an appetizer and entrée, dessert and coffee, and a glass of champagne or sparkling cider. William Penn Inn (Gwynedd, Montco): Treat your mom to a gourmet dinner buffet at the William Penn Inn. The price is $44 per person, and $15 for children nine and under. The inn is accepting reservations from 11 am – 8 pm. There is also an a la carte sit-down dinner that costs $32 – $53 per person, and $15 for children under nine. McCoole’s Red Lion Inn (Quakertown): Pamper mom in a historical setting for a full tea served by friendly volunteers in period attire. Tickets include; soup, tea-sandwiches, scones, and desserts topped off with the finest selection of teas, all for $30 per person. Mother’s Day in New Jersey
Frenchtown Inn (Frenchtown, NJ): The Frenchtown Inn will be serving Mother’s Day three-course dinner from 12 – 5 pm. Reservations are recommended. Call 908.996.3300.

Old York Cellars (Ringoes, NJ): Treat mom to a day at the vineyard at Old York Cellars. This wine trail event will include live entertainment, winery tours, complimentary chocolate shots for mom (on Mother’s Day only) and the option to reserve a special Mother’s Day wine and dessert tasting experience.
Tickets for the trail include a wine tasting and souvenir wine glass for one person. The trail is May 13 – 14, from 12 – 5 pm. Tickets are $10 in advance, and $5 for wine club members. Learn what other tasting events are available for mom and where to buy your tickets on their website.
