Going out for Mother’s Day 2016

Old York Cellars

Note: These prices are not current. Please contact the restaurant for this year’s pricing.

Although Mother’s Day first became an official US holiday in 1914, its antecedents go back long before the 21st century. Early versions date back to the 19th century, and even further to the ancient Greeks and Romans who held festivals in honor of the mother goddesses Rhea and Cybele.

Today, Mother’s Day is a bit more modern. We like to shower our special ladies with flowers, gifts, and of course, food. Whether you are going out with your mom or the motherly figure in your life, there are several brunches and dinners around Bucks and Hunterdon County that are prepared to pamper your mom with a great meal and drinks, too.

Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 8 this year…so hurry up and make your reservations.
