Linden Hill Farmers’ Market celebrates a great first season

Hard to believe but today is the last day of the first year of the Linden Hill Farmers Market, the youngest Bucks County farmers’ market, which takes place every Friday afternoon in Ottsville at Linden Hill Gardens on Route 611. Take advantage of some sporadic sunshine this afternoon and visit them for the festivities.

Here’s the beautiful harvest items for sale today: Cauliflower (white and purple), broccoli, arugula, leeks, onions, shallots, garlic, head lettuce, daikon and watermelon radishes, purple top turnips, potatoes and sweet potatoes, butternut and pie pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, delicata squash, bok choy, kale and swiss chard, dill and cilantro, beets, celeriac, radicchio. A wide variety of Pumpkins and Gourds, Ornamental Corn, Popcorn, Corn stalks, Broomcorn, Butternut, Green, white, and gold Acorn, Spaghetti, Scarlet and Green Kabocha Squash, hot and sweet peppers, Sweet potatoes, red, blue, and banana potatoes, Beets, Collard Greens, Turnips, Radish, Eclipse Squash, Thyme, Oregano, Dill, Parsely, Sorrel, Onions, Carrots, Swiss Chard, eggs, and possibly Eggplant and Green beans.

  • Play the “Know your vendor” Contest – the most correct answers by 5 pm will receive coveted Linden Hill Farmers Market Dollars!
