Want to go out for Easter this year? Bucks is full of restaurants offering lovely brunches and dinners for the holiday. And we’re not just talking ham. There is some very creative and delicious food being offered out there. Peruse the choices below and click through to the menus where available.

Easter is Sunday, April 20 this year.

The list is organized geographically by Lower, Central and Upper Bucks, and New Jersey.

Lower Bucks

Easter_Fisher's Tudor HouseFisher’s Tudor House (Bensalem) is offering both an Easter Brunch and Easter Dinner. Brunch will be served from 11:30 am until 2 pm featuring a chef-attended omelette station and a Belgium waffle station, with hot and cold breakfast and lunch specialties. Cost is $31.99 per adult, $12.99 for children 3 – 10 years old. Click here to buy tickets. La Stalla Restaurant (Newtown) has an extensive Easter Sunday Buffet Brunch, seating from 10 am to 1:30 pm. Easter Dinner seatings begin at 3 pm. Call 215.579.8301 for more details.

The Yardley Inn Restaurant and Bar (Yardley) will be serving Easter dinner from 1 – 7:30 pm with a special holiday menu including crab cakes, smoked ham, seared lamb chops and even roasted brisket with spinach kugel (see the full menu here). In addition, they will have a full bar, cocktails with fresh-squeezed juice and a jellybean martini. Pricing is a la carte. For reservations, call 215.493.3800.

Central Bucks

Barley Sheaf Farm mimosa; (c) 2014 L. GoldmanThe Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm (Buckingham) is offering a 3 course prix fixe brunch, including a complimentary mimosa, for $45 per person. Menu choices include a smoked salmon plate, biscuits with gravy, smoked ham, roasted Lancaster chicken, blueberry buttermilk pancakes and traditional eggs Benedict with some delicious sides. Bitter Bob’s (New Hope) will serve special Easter items, also with complimentary Mimosas and Bloody Marys, from 8 am to 2 pm. Menu includes Vegetable Feta Biscuits, Virginia Ham and Smoked Gouda Omelet, Santa Fe Quiche and a BBQ Bene (2 poached eggs, pulled pork over grilled cornbread topped with barbecue sauce infused Hollandaise). Caleb’s American Kitchen (Lahaska) is offering a two course all-inclusive brunch that includes a Bloody Mary/Mimosa Bar (BYO) and a basket of assorted muffins. Menu items include: Potato Crusted Frittata, NOLA Bananas Foster French Toast, Scallop Cakes, Grilled Salmon, Chicken Crepe, Shrimp ‘n Grits, and Steak and Eggs. Brunch starts at 9 am and goes until 3 pm. Prices vary according to entrée. Call 215.794.8588 to reserve.

Jamie Hollander Gourmet Foods (New Hope) has an extensive catering menu available for both Easter and Passover. Cooking and heating instructions are included with all orders at pick-up. All Easter orders must be placed before 3 pm on Tuesday, April 15. Allow 3 days before a Passover meal. Lumberville General Store (Lumberville) has lots of fun planned for Easter weekend. An Easter lunch menu will be available beginning Friday, April 18 through Easter Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm. Choice of Honey Glazed Ham or Citrus Tilapia, Green Bean Casserole, Macaroni and Cheese and Easter Cookies, $9.95 for adults and $6.95 for children. There will also be a Jelly Bean Count with the child closest to counting the correct number of jelly beans winning a prize, and face painting on Saturday, April 19 from 11 am to 4 pm. At Peddler’s Village in Lahaska, the options are varied.

  • The Buttonwood Grill  will be serving Easter Brunch from 10 am to 2 pm with “made to order” stations of fresh ham and slow roasted prime rib, artisanal bread, soups, salads, Smoked Tomato Blanc, Tuscan Bean Rabe Pesto, Vegetarian Bolognese and desserts.   • The Cock ‘n Bull is offering a traditional Easter Brunch Buffet from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. The Dinner Buffet will be served from 3 pm to 6 pm. The cost for adults is $33.95 and children (10 & under) $14.50. Reservations are required. The Brunch and Dinner Buffet menus are available on their website.
  • Earl’s Bucks County is offering their regular Sunday Brunch (11 am – 2 pm) including Black Forest Ham and Sharp Cheddar Frittata, Brioche French toast, and Traditional Eggs Benedict. There will also be an all day dining menu (2 – 7 pm) with two special Easter Menu additions: Grilled Lamb Chops and Grilled Pork Tenderloin. Call 215.794.4020 to reserve your table.

At the Pineville Tavern (Pineville) Easter dinner will be served all day from noon until 10 pm. Reservations will be accepted for parties of 8 or more. Specials include: Italian Wedding Soup, Spring Spinach Salad – Topped with Grilled Shrimp, Hard Boiled Eggs & Warm Bacon Dressing, Roast Rack of Lamb with Mustard Crust and Au Gratin Potatoes, Homemade Lasagna with Meatball, Baked Trout Almondine and Honey Baked Ham with Au Gratin Potatoes. Slate Bleu (Doylestown) will open on Easter at 1 pm, offering their usual “bistro plate” menu throughout the day with additions for Easter, including: Sliced Leg of Lamb and Oven Roasted Ham. In the early afternoon, they will also offer several brunch items such as Eggs Benedict, Homemade Brioche French Toast. Call 215.348.0222.

The Vintage Grille is open for Easter, serving their a la carte breakfast menu from 8 am to 1 pm, and an Easter dinner menu from 1 pm to 8 pm. Easter Specials including Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Blueberry Sauce, Baked Ham with a Brown Sugar Dijon Glaze, Roast Leg of Lamb with Dried Cherry Sauce, Slow Roasted Prime Rib, Spring Vegetable Lasagna, and more. Upper Bucks

The Golden Pheasant (Erwinna) will be serving a three course prix fixe Easter Champagne brunch from 10:30 am to 2pm. Menu items include:  Grand Marnier French Toast, Poached Scottish Salmon, Dungeness Crabcakes and a Grilled Petite Grass Fed Sirloin with Sunny Side Up Egg. See the full Brunch menu here. Indian Rock Inn (Upper Black Eddy) will be open Easter from noon to 8 pm, offering both Easter brunch and Easter dinner. Menu items include: Silver Dollar Mushrooms, stuffed with leeks and blue cheese; Asparagus en Croute, goat cheese with basil pesto in puff pastry; Easter Ham; Roast Duck; Filet Mignon; and Rabbit Maltese. Jamison Publick House (Pennsburg) will be open for Easter lunch and dinner from 1 pm to 6 pm. Located amongst the back roads of northern Bucks County in Pennsburg, the Jamison Publick House is only ten minutes from Quakertown. Contact them at 215.375.8886 for reservations.

The Rising Sun Inn (Telford) will be seating Easter Brunch from 10 am to 2 pm ($20.95 per adult, $10.95 per child), and Easter Dinner from 3 pm to 7 pm (a la carte). See their website for more information or call them at 215.721.6350.

New Jersey

Hamilton’s Grill Room (Lambertville) is serving an Easter buffet brunch from noon to 4 pm. The prix fixe menu includes Truffled Chicken Liver Pate with Pistachios, House-cured Gravlax, Seafood Bar, Wild Mushroom Soup, Omelette Station, Aunt Jemima Maple Glazed Ham and Split-Roasted Leg of Lamb with garlic mayonnaise, and more, with an assortment of pastries. The Stockton Inn (Stockton) is launching their new Brunch on Easter Sunday beginning at 9:30 am. Some of the menu items include Clams Casino, Escargot Vol Au Vent, Belgium Endive Salad, Horseradish Spaetzle, Lobster Fondue, a Special Raw Bar, hand-crafted soups, Tofu Scramble, Bella Luna Flatbread, Lemon Ricotta Pancake and much more.
