Sweet Sixteen in the Vineyard

Got your attention, didn’t I? Well, get your mind out of the gutter. I’m talking about celebrating our synagogue’s sixteen birthday. Kehilat HaNahar (“the Little Shul by the River”) is our house of worship in New Hope. And we are having a grand bash at Crossing Vineyards & Winery on June 5th, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. In addition to delicious food provided by Crossing’s in-house caterer, Grand Cru, they’ll be hot music and cool wine, of course. And the silent auction items! I know, I know. Every fundraiser has “great” silent auction items, but take a gander at these, all you foodies…

And there’s more great stuff…

  • A guitar autographed by Les Paul, one autographed by Pete Seeger, and one by Alice Cooper
  • A bicycle from New Hope Cyclery
  • An overnight stay at The Manhattan Club Resort Hotel in NYC
  • Pet products and gift certificates from P&A Pet Foods in Doylestown
  • $100 gift certificate from Carroll’s Jewelers in Doylestown
  • Phillies tickets at the 100 level, including parking
  • Native American jewelry
  • Beautiful artwork, photos, etchings and historical documents
  • Services like personal training, piano lessons, dog sitting and dog portraits, hair salon services, shiatsu massage, and blended chiropractic treatment by Dr. Lauren Nappen

The event takes place on Saturday evening, June 5th, 2010 at the Crossing Vineyards & Winery. To RSVP, please contact Sheila at Kehilat HaNahar, at 215.862.1912, by Friday, May 28th (that’s this Friday). If you can’t make it but want to bid on some of these items, call Sheila at the above number, or email me at info@buckscountytaste.com.
