Happy June! It seems we have skipped over spring and went straight to summer. The weather has been pretty good lately, which makes it easy to have BBQs, picnics, and other outdoor events. This weekend, sunshine or rain, there are plenty of food events—both indoors and outdoors. Still, let’s cross our fingers and hope for some sun!

1. Que for the Troops

Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4, Falls Township Community Park, 9125 Millcreek Road, Levittown, PA

Over the years, the event has raised more than $65,000 for Liberty USO, a nonprofit that supports active duty, National Guard and reserve military personnel.

The two-day event also features a chicken wing eating contest, mechanical bull, food vendors, a car show, live music, and fireworks. There will also be plenty of children’s events.
