Bucks County beer and spirits tidbits

Cheers to the weekend! We’ve gathered some upcoming events on the adult drinking scene, covering everything from wine events to beers on tap. If you are looking for a new bar or a place that is BYOB-friendly, be sure to peruse our beer guide and BYOB map. And tell them Bucks County Taste sent ya!

Tonight (Friday Night)…

This week is American Craft Beer Week, and this is the perfect weekend to celebrate it. Check out the Bucks County Brewery’s Friday night fun tonight, May 19. They’ve got tunes by singer Lauren Marsh, and some tasty treats from Empanada Mama and Aioli Food Truck. Then on Saturday, keep the party going with some Mango Men Duo songs. And, eat up some snacks from On a Roll Rolling Kitchen.

Don’t forget to wash all this food down with a nice beer! The Bucks County Brewery has several beers on tap in their tasting room.

For instance, try the Peach Saison (a farmhouse ale), the Mulleys Tavern Red (a red ale), or the Kestrel IPA (an American IPA with a lot of hop flavor). Check out all the beers on tap here.

You can also enjoy MGK’s Friday Night Flights – a craft beer sampling and live broadcast, at Doylestown Brewing Company’s Hops Bar and Grill on East State Street in Doylestown. MGK’s Ray Koob (of the radio station 102.9 MGK) loves his craft beer and his classic rock, so this Friday he will be rockin’ out and sipping half-priced flights from Doylestown Brewing Company. If you stop by, you can win MGK prizes and dance to classic rock jams. More information can be found here.
