Now that we are all embracing the fall weather, it’s time to welcome the abundance of seasonal produce. Apples are already ripe and being picked at local orchards, and there are plenty more on the way.

Here’s a listing of apples in Bucks and nearby that are available for sale and for pick-your-own, as of September 27, 2017. Always call or check their websites/Facebook for the latest apple information. Enjoy!

Bechdolt’s Orchard, 2209 Leithsville Road, Hellertown, PA, 610.838.8522. The orchard is now picking Cortland, Jonagold, and more.

Bedminster Orchard, 1024 Kellers Church Rd, Perkasie, PA, 215.795.0303. Apple varieties available this week include Autumn Crisp and Crimson Crisp.

The Market at DelVal, 2100 Lower State Road, Doylestown, PA, 215.230.7170. Apples for PYO are $1.49/lb and Apple Fun Days is $3 per person. Currently available: Linda Mac, Empire, Jonagold, Braeburn, Red Delicious and Yellow Delicious.

Penn Vermont Fruit Farm, 831 Rolling Hills Road, Bedminster, PA, 215.795.2475. New fall hours are Monday through Saturday, 8 am – 6 pm, and Sunday 9 am – 6 pm. The farm is now picking Cortland, and other apple varieties.

Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Road, Morrisville, PA, 215.968.1670. Apples available, now picking Honey Crisp, Gala, Crimson Crisp, Cortland, and Daybreak Fuji Apples. Pick your own on weekends, plus hayrides.

Snipes Farm, 890 West Bridge Street, Morrisville, PA, 215.295.1139. Apples available for sale, as well as cider. Pick your own and hayrides on weekends.

Apples, Solebury Orchards

Solebury Orchards, 3325 Creamery Road, New Hope, PA, 215.297-8079. The farm is now picking Empire, Pinata, Jonathan, Honey Crisp, Gala and Pixie Crunch as well as Seckle and Bosc Pears. Pick your own weekends 9 am to 6 pm. Apple cider, cider donuts and more available in the market.

Solly Farm, 707 Almshouse Road, Warminster, PA, 215.357.2850. Apples available for sale, call for varieties. Pick your own on weekends from 10 am to 4 pm.

Styer’s Orchard, 97 Styer Lane, Langhorne, PA, 215.702.9633. Apple varieties available include Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Empire, JonaGold, and Jonathan.

Tabora Farm & Orchard, 1104 Upper Stump Road, Chalfont, PA, 215.249.3016. The orchard is now picking Red Delicious and Golden Delicious at their farm here in Bucks County. Also, they have Gala, Empire, Macintosh, Jonagold, Macoun, Cortland, Crispin, Gingergold, Honey Crisp, and Bosc pears from the family farm in upstate New York. Soon: Fuji, Northern Spy, and Ida Red will be coming.

Apples from Snipes Farm

Terhune Orchards, 330 Cold Soil Road, Princeton, NJ, 609.924.2310. The public can pick Red Delicious, Golden Delicious and Macoun apples. 10 varieties in the store are available for purchase, including Empire, Liberty, Crimson Crisp, Cortland, Red Delicious, Jonathan, Jonamac, Crab Apples, and Querina. Coming soon: PYO Stayman Winesap, Granny Smith, and Pink Lady. Also, the orchards have apple cider and apple wine! Pick your own is every day 9 am – 5 pm.
