Goodbye Summer Kitchen
The charming and tasty BYOB, The Summer Kitchen, will be closing its doors on September 19th. If you never had a chance to enjoy Chef Mario Korenstein’s delicious cuban-influenced creations, go now. As for the reason, ”a combination of things just make this the right time to close,” says co-owner Dave Van Ess. A bad economy, difficult location (Penns Park, in Wrightstown), a year of bad weather and even some landlord issues. Right now they have no plans to open another restaurant, says Van Ess, so please stop by while you can. Read our post about the Summer Kitchen (one of our first) here.

oh, I am so sorry to hear that. We go there often, were even contemplating having a special event dinner there. So sad.
That’s a shame. We go here often. This place will be missed for sure!
