Over the past five years we’ve had the privilege of peeking into kitchens, interviewing chefs, video taping and photographing great food and, well, eating a lot too. It was hard to choose just eight stories but these are some of our favorites – and some of yours too, judging from the traffic they’ve generated. Home Again at the Cross Keys Diner This was one of the first pieces we wrote, just after Scott Edwards and Paul Markert took over the landmark diner in Doylestown in December 2008.

The Taco Burger If you’ve been to Basically Burgers in Doylestown then you know what I’m talking about. Here’s a video of the famous Taco Burger and what goes into making it.
Warming up at the Yardley Inn Every year the Yardley Inn hosts a whisky dinner in January, featuring excellent scotch and excellent food paired with it. This was a fun dinner, thanks to chef Eben Copple.
The kids are all right Chef Skylar Bird began this youth-run restaurant in his parents’ home in Doylestown. Now it’s all grown up with a place of its own in New Hope. Good, french-inspired food at good prices.
