Not sure if you’ve heard of Geromes Sausage Company and hoping to let you know about a great find. Many years ago I worked in Bristol Boro and used to buy the absolutely best sausage at a small store. The store must have closed and I hadn’t heard of them in years. Just found out the company has re-opened on Woodbourne Rd. Levittown (about one minute south of Oxford Valley Mall). It is in a small strip shopping center – just a tiny store that can fit about 3 customers. I stopped last week and purchased 6 varieties of sausage. Soooo good, the best quality. My two favorites were Broccoli Rabe/Provolone, & Greek – it has olives & feta. I think they actually make at least a dozen varieties. Just wonderful flavors & texture.
I think they are developing a website, but there was nothing on it yet.
Really worth the ride to Lower Bucks! I can’t wait to go back and buy more to try on the grill this time.

  6. Thanks for the tip on Geromes, Patty. I do know of it – I clipped an advertisement out months ago – and have been meaning to get over there. Sounds wonderful. Hmmn…maybe today. We’re doing a barbecue this weekend.

Another great BYOB restaurant you shouldn’t miss is the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm. ( Executive Chef Joshua Homacki is artful, while delivering a delicious meal in a unique environment.

Didn’t see our favorite: Scappa 8919 New Falls Rd, Levittown, PA 19054 Really great food at reasonable prices. You walk in to a pizzeria and keep walking to find the dining room.

Since the current map and list includes BYO restaurants in nearby Hunterdon County, I’d add The Pass in Rosemont.

  14. Of course. Thanks for the catch.
