Produce needed for Thanksgiving Food Drive

Hunger Nutrition Coalition logo

The Hunger Nutrition Coalition of Bucks County is asking for donations to their Thanksgiving Food Drive this year. Rather than the typical non-perishable or canned good donation, the Coalition is hoping for donations of produce, so that the people who benefit from the food drive will be able to have a healthy and nutritious Thanksgiving.

In particular, they’re looking for donations of sweet potatoes, onions, potatoes, celery, apples and carrots, which will supplement what food pantries around the county will already be distributing for the holiday.
