Getting ready for Thanksgiving
Okay. Don’t freak out. I know it’s not even Halloween. I’m not one of those folks who puts out the decorations two months ahead of time. But I am starting to get emails about ordering Thanksgiving turkeys from local producers and noticing that people are starting to search for “Thanksgiving” related topics, so I thought I’d post something for all the Type A’s out there who are super organized.
Order a locally “grown” turkey. Here’s my post from last year on where you can get a local turkey. I will probably update it, but it’s a good place to start. Click here: Gobble, gobble…where to get fresh turkeys.
You might want to think about going out for Thanksgiving too. Here’s my post from last year on Going out for Thanksgiving. Once again, I will probably update this as we get closer, but if you want to start thinking about it, here’s a bunch of places who did it last year.
