If you have a veteran, active service member or military personnel in your family or social circle, show them how much you appreciate their support by taking them out for a good meal. Veteran’s day lunch & presentation: Steve L. Cantrell, a retired Marine Corp Lieutenant Colonel will give a presentation, which features patriotic music and a booklet featuring stories of local veterans. A lunch will follow for veterans, active duty service personnel and their families. The event is held at the Central Bucks Family YMCA.
Temperance House Toast: The Temperance House in Newtown is making a toast to veterans and military heroes by offering those with military IDs a complimentary drink and dessert with their lunch or dinner entrée purchase.
Applebee’s free meals: Applebee’s always serves up a free meal to veterans on Veteran’s Day. This Applebee’s in Newtown is owned by the Rose Group which are sponsors of the LMT Veterans Square Monument Project.
Olive oil sale: Veterans can show their ID at Olive Oil Etcetera for 20% off their purchase through Sunday, November 13.
Veterans eat free all day: This Friday, November 11, veterans eat lunch or dinner for free at the King George Inn in Bristol. Reservations are required so call to save your spot.
