Why not go out for Thanksgiving this year? No dishes, no hot kitchen, no pots and pans to clean, and no exhaustion. We’ve compiled a very comprehensive list of restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinners and buffets this year, 2014, in Bucks County and nearby.

Restaurants offering Thanksgiving meals
The Black Bass Hotel is offering a seven-course dinner served from noon to 8:30 pm for $72.50. The full menu can be found on their website. The inn is at 3774 River Road in Lumberville. Phone: 215.297.9260.
The Brick Hotel at 1 East Washington Ave. in Newtown is putting on a Gourmet Thanksgiving Brunch, adults $37.95 and for children, $19.95, 11:30 am to 3 pm. The Buck Hotel is offering a “Family Style” Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 6 pm. Price for adults is $60 (plus tax and gratuity) and $26 for children. All reservations must be paid in advance by cash or check via mail, or with credit card in person. The Buck is at 1200 Buck Road in Feasterville. You can reach them at 215.396.2002 for reservations. The Cascade Lodge is cooking a whole turkey for parties of 4 or more, including all the traditional fixings. And you can even take home the leftover turkey! Call for 2014 pricing. Franconia Heritage Restaurant of Souderton has a special Thanksgiving all you can eat Buffet with the traditional Turkey, plus Fried Turkey, Prime Rib, Old Bay Cod, Stuffed Flounder with crab meat, and others, plus sides including Mashed Potatoes, Corn and Sweet Potatoes. There’s also the option of ordering various Thanksgiving entrees. See the full menu here. They’ll be serving Thanksgiving dinner from noon until 7 pm. Call 215.721.4400 to make reservations.
The Golden Pheasant Inn will have a special a la carte menu for the day including Chef Michel’s Traditional Onion Soup, Dungeness Crab Cakes, House Smoked Rainbow Trout, Grilled Lancaster County Beef Strip Steak, Bolton Farms Slow Roasted Turkey, Butternut Squash Ravioli and more. The Hattery at the Doylestown Inn is serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal, as well as their regular menu. To make reservations, call 215.345.6610.
The Indian Rock Inn is offering an All American Thanksgiving Feast from noon to 8 pm, for $40 per person (children under 12 years: $18). This includes a three-course dinner—both traditional turkey with all your favorite trimmings, sides and several alternative choices—as well as a choice of soup or salad and dessert. They will send the menu to you upon request; contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org. Vegetarians can call ahead and speak directly with the chef so that he can prepare an outstanding meal for them as well. [Note: the Inn will only be serving the Thanksgiving menu on that day.] Seating is limited and reservations are required. Phone: 610.982.9600. Martine’s River House in New Hope will be open from 1 pm to 7 pm with a limited a la carte menu, including a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner special. They will be accepting reservations, call 215.86.2966 to make one. Martine’s is on the river at 14 E. Ferry Street.
naBrasa, the Brazilian steakhouse in Horsham, will be serving traditional Brazilian Rodizio cuts plus skewered turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and all of the Thanksgiving trimmings. Dinner from 3 – 8 pm, $44.95 per person. Contact them for reservations at 215.956.0600.
At Peddler’s Village in Lahaska, the options are varied. Buttonwood Grill will offer a special Thanksgiving Buffet from 11 am to 6 pm (last seating is at 4:30 pm): $31.95 (adults) and $15.95 (children 10 and under); children 5 years old and younger are free. Earl’s Bucks County will do a three course prix fixe Turkey Dinner for $29.95 with a focus as always on locally sourced ingredients. The regular Dinner Menu will also be served from 1 – 6 p.m. For reservations, please call 215.794.4020.
The Pineville Tavern will be serving family style appetizers of cheese ravioli, mussels or miniature crab cakes, a carving station with turkey, rib roast and baked ham, and all the traditional trimmings and sides, including dessert. Price is $35 for adults, $15 for children. They are taking reservations from noon to 7 pm and can be reached at 215.598.3890. The Pineville Tavern is on Route 413 in Pineville.
The Piper Tavern is open annually for Thanksgiving and are serving a limited menu of traditional Thanksgiving fare. To make a reservation, call 215.766.7100.
Revival’s Restaurant in Perkasie is offering appetizers a la carte and a Thanksgiving buffet for $17.99. Options include salads, applesauce, cranberry sauces, Roast Turkey, Baked Ham, Roast Pork, pastas, traditional sides, and an assortment of pies. They’ll also have a children’s buffet for $9.99, plus a kids menu for picky eaters. Reservations are accepted from 12 to 6 pm on Thanksgiving day. Call 215.258.3463 to make your reservations.
The Vintage Grille in Fountainville will offer a traditional prix fixe Thanksgiving Dinner beginning at 8 am with the last seating at 8 pm. Dinner is $28.95 (adult, $16.95 children) Prix Fixe, 3 courses – Appetizer, Entree, Dessert. Entree choices include traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings, slow roasted prime rib, vegetarian options, and much more. They will also be serving breakfast on Thanksgiving morning 8 – 11 am including pumpkin pancakes, whole grain French Toast, and Turkey Benedict. Reservations required for Thanksgiving dinner. The Washington Crossing Inn is offering a Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet that includes Roasted Turkey, Prime Rib, and Scottish Salmon, delicious side dishes like braised brussels sprouts and maple glazed sweet potato, and an assortment of pies. Dinner is $42 per person for adults, $24 for kids ages 4 through 10, and kids under 4 eat for free. To make reservations, call 877.882.1776.
The Washington House is seating for a 4-course Thanksgiving dinner prix fixe dinner with hors d’oeuvres served family style, choice of soup or salad, entrée and dessert for $35 or $40 per adult (depending on menu choices) and $9.95 for children 12 & under. The Waterwheel Restaurant in Doylestown has had a buffet in the past but I’m not sure what they are doing in 2014. Call them at 215.345.9544. The Waterwheel is at 4424 Old Easton Rd.
The Yardley Inn Restaurant and Bar will be serving dinner 1 – 7 pm on Thanksgiving Day. The menu for the holiday includes a variety of entrees, including turkey, salmon, filet, crab cakes, lamb, scallops, pork tenderloin and vegetarian gnudi. Reservations are strongly recommended as they usually fill up on Thanksgiving. You can find the Yardley Inn at the corner of Afton Ave. and River Rd. in Yardley. For reservations, call: 215.493.3800.

Hamilton’s Grill Room will be offering a five-course Thanksgiving Family Dinner Dinner, served from 1 to 5 pm, for $55 per person. Entree choices include Turkey, Salmon, Roast Beef and all the traditional sides, plus dessert. Call the restaurant for more information and reservations at 609.397.4343. Hamilton’s is at 8 Coryell St. in Lambertville. And don’t forget, they are also BYOB.
The Lambertville Station Restaurant is offering an a la carte menu on Turkey Day from 11 am until 8:00 pm. Reservations can be made at 609.397.8300. At the Inn at Lambertville Station in the Riverside Ballroom they will have a Thanksgiving Buffet with seatings from 12 pm to 7:30 pm. Call 609.397.4400 for reservations. The Brick Tavern Inn in Quakertown will be offering a full meal including sliced roast turkey, homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, chef’s vegetables, cranberry sauce, house salad with champagne vinaigrette dressing and rolls for $13.95 per person. The Brick Hotel in Newtown offers Thanksgiving To Go for $25.99 adults + tax including Roasted Turkey Breast with Chef’s Herbed gravy, Traditional Herb Stuffing , Spiced Cranberry Sauce, Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes and Green Bean Casserole. See their menu online. Call 215.860.8313.
Chive Cafe in Lahaska is offering a full catering menu for the holiday including appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, sides and desserts. A whole turkey is $4.75/lb. for a 16-22 lb. bird, or $6/lb. for a 22-28 lb. turkey. You can also get turkey breast, smoked ham, beef tenderloin or salmon. For a full menu, see their website. Fisher’s Tudor House in Bensalem has a Thanksgiving Dinner package including turkey, soup, side dishes desserts, gravy, pumpkin bread and dinner rolls. You can also get a spiral cut baked ham. Reheating instructions are included. Price is $16.99 per person + 6% PA Sales Tax (minimum of 8 people). All orders must be placed and paid for online by 4 pm Sunday, November 23. Gross’ Gourmet Foods in Doylestown offers fresh, cooked turkeys and all the sides. Turkeys are $2.5o/lb. Order now up until Friday, November 21. Contact them for more details at 215.345.1721.
Hickory Kitchen in Doylestown has Thanksgiving comfort food with a BBQ twist. Why do regular Thanksgiving when you can have it smoked? You can order a la carte whole smoked turkeys (10-25 lbs.) or smoked turkey breasts, pulled pork, sliced brisket, pulled chicken, and smoked sausage. Sides include: cornbread, beans with meat, applesauce, collard greens, sweet potato casserole and more. Biscuits, rolls and desserts are also available. Thanksgiving orders must be placed by Sunday, November 23. Everything will be available for pick up on Wednesday, November 26 (open 11 am – 8 pm). All items that require re-heating will be packed in oven ready pans for Thanksgiving Thursday. Their Holiday Catering Program is available through New Year’s. Jamie Hollander’s Gourmet Foods in New Hope has a full Thanksgiving menu for take-out, including a whole roasted turkey, roasted turkey breast, stuffed turkey breast or ham. Everything on their menu below is made with care using the freshest, all-natural (and often local) ingredients. Turkeys are all-natural, Certified Humane from Koch’s Farm (Tamaqua, PA). The whole turkey is brined and stuffed with aromatic herbs and vegetables, trussed, then slow roasted. Turkeys are available brined (raw) or roasted, ready to serve. Exact weight will vary from turkey to turkey. Includes gravy. Over 1/2 dozen traditional side dishes and soup available too, as well as traditional condiments, pastries and party platters. They will also sell their homemade gravy by the quart and have prepared foods for last minute shoppers (but to be sure, order ahead). Orders need to be in by Friday, November 21. The Lumberville General Store will have a take-out catering menu for Thanksgiving that can be ordered a la carte or a complete meal at $29.99 per person with a minimum of four people. The complete meal includes: whole turkey, turkey gravy, pumpkin bisque, mashed potatoes, traditional herb stuffing, sausage stuffing, sweet potato casserole, green beans almondine, asparagus au gratin, homemade cranberry sauce, creamed confetti corn, and onion biscuits. All orders must be in by Sunday, November 23 and paid for in advance. The pick-up days are Tuesday, November 25 or Wednesday, November 26 between 9 am and 4 pm, or Thursday, November 27 before 12 noon (please specify a pickup date.) They will also have 10 inch pies at $19.95 each: pumpkin, old fashioned pecan, apple, apple cranberry, and mixed berry crumb. You can reach them by phone at 215.297.9262.
Max Hansen Catering is offering a full a la carte take-out menu for the holiday out of the Carversville General Store. Choices include Eberly’s Whole Organic Turkeys, filet of beef, Berkshire Pork Rack, Whole Salmon Filet, and an assortment of traditional sides, gravy and sauces, chutney and raita, salads and appetizers, and, of course, dessert including pies, Belgian Dark Chocolate Brownies and pumpkin cheesecake. Tabora Farm & Orchard offers a Country Style Thanksgiving Dinner for $19.99 per person which includes choice of two entrees—Traditional Roast Turkey or Baked Virginia Ham with Pineapple Glaze—a choice of five starters, sixteen side dishes and 6 oz. gravy, 2 dinner rolls, and homemade cranberry sauce. Wegmans in Warrington is offering a Traditional Turkey Dinner for $89, serves 8-10 and includes 5 sides, gravy and cranberry orange relish. A Premium Turkey Dinner serves 10-12 and costs $135. A hand-carved Roasted Turkey Dinner is available in two sizes: the medium serves 5-6 and costs $109; the large serves 10-12 and costs $199. Both include 4 sides, gravy and cranberry orange relish.
