The Pennsylvania Buy Fresh Buy Local program is asking for feedback by way of their great site, BuyLocalPA.org. We recently got an email from them encouraging folks to “tell the world” about their favorite spots for local food by logging on and sharing information about their favorite farm, market, store or restaurant.
More than 7,000 people visit our site each month, and many of them are new to the local food scene. Your input will help folks find, choose and support the good folks bringing great locally grown foods to market. And, in the process, you’ll be giving a little back to a business that has fed you well.
Besides sharing your enthusiastic stories, reviews and tips, there’s one other way you can help us. Is there a hot spot for local food missing from the site, or is any of the information posted not as fresh as it could be? Please drop us a line to let us know, and we’ll do our best to get our information updated.

I read your article today in the Intelligencer, Aug 5, and I was disapointed that you did not buy your chickens from us. We have been raising chickens on our farm in Silverdale for over 50 years. We raise chicken, turkey and beef. We do not use antibiotics, hormones or add growth stimulants. We are located on rt 113 in Bucks County. I would love to have you stop in our market sometime so I can show you all the natural products we raise and make right here on our property.
