Food Fight screening TONIGHT
If you are interested in learning how we arrived at the current food systems in America, the people who are bringing flavor and nutrients into our daily lives, and healthier food choices in schools, then come tonight to the screening of of the documentary “Food Fight: Revolution never tasted so good.”
The film will be shown tonight at the Palisades High School in Kintersville followed by a panel discussion with the film’s director, Chris Taylor, from Los Angeles, CA, and local food revolutionists, Stephen McDonnell, founder, Applegate Farms (recently interviewed by Katie Couric on how he is changing the way America eats meat); and Terry Brett, owner, Kimberton Whole Foods, a local natural and organic grocery store dedicated to the mission of supporting “Real Food. Local Roots.” Proceeds for this event will benefit the high school club, “Students for Social Change” and their activities. The event is sponsored by Applegate Farms.

7:00 pm: Food Concessions and Meet & Greet with local food revolutionists
7:15 pm: Film screening
8:30 pm: Panel Discussion, immediately following with:

I really enjoyed meeting you last night and talking about the twin issues of food and travel. And I was really impressed and happy that so many of the Palisades High School community would come out in a cold winter storm to see the film.
