Barbecue and bourbon at Earl’s Bucks County
Don’t hate us. We spent last evening eating five wonderful barbecue courses, each paired with a fine, small batch or single barrel Bourbon (NOT Jack Daniels – the good stuff). The highlight of the evening? Besides the brisket, which I loved, Mark won a blind test where he had to identify by smell each of the five bourbons tasted last night. Very impressive. Here’s the menu and some pictures. Hope Earl’s does it again next year! Keep an eye on the calendar for Earl’s next Tasty Thursday event on August 25, 2011. The theme will be a beer dinner with Victory Brewing Company as the host, also five courses, each paired with a different beer.
