The Lumberville General Store is kicking off Memorial Day with a Sunday BBQ, and this is one BBQ party where you are expected to BYOB and BYES (Bring Your Empty Stomach!). 8. Memorial Day Picnic at Rising Sun Inn

The Rising Sun Inn is hosting its annual Memorial Day weekend picnic on Sunday. Start the day off with some beer, buffalo hot dogs, burgers, oysters on the half shell, and later, check out the chili cook-off contest. You can bring your own cooked chili or cook your chili at the inn. And, the tasting and voting for the cook-off is done on-site.
There will also be a buffalo hot dog eating contest, buffalo hot dog and hamburger specials, and a Quoits tournament in the afternoon.

Get ready for some tasty pancakes! This Memorial Day before the parade in Doylestown, you can enjoy pancakes at the Salem United Church of Christ. They will have plain, blueberry, chocolate chip pancakes, vegetarian and pork sausage, hot beverages, juice and milk. Donations are $8 for adults and $4 for kids ages three to nine. The breakfast starts at 8 am.
10. Memorial Day Sausage and Pancake Breakfast: Monday, May 29, 7 am – Noon, Doylestown Masonic Lodge #245, 55 East State St., Doylestown, PA
The Doylestown Masonic Lodge will host its annual sausage and pancake breakfast on Memorial Day, so bring your empty stomach! The breakfast will be served from 7 am to noon. Children under 10 eat for $3 and children six and under eat for free. Adults cost $7.
