1. St. Practice Day – Jameson Trilogy Tasting

In order to get everyone in the St. Paddy’s day spirit, 
Southern Wine & Spirits representative Danielle will be on site to promote the Jameson Trilogy at Bowman’s Tavern in New Hope.
Since it’s the day before St. Patrick’s Day, they’re calling it, St. Practice Day! Whiskeys being sampled include Jameson Irish Whiskey, Jameson Caskmates, and Jameson Black Barrel.

2. Irish Whiskey Dinner
Thursday, March 16, 7 pm, Earl’s New American, 2400 Street Rd., New Hope, PA
Earl’s New American presents an Irish Whiskey Dinner, a four-course Irish-inspired menu paired with a selection from Tullamore D.E.W., the triple distilled, triple blend Irish Whiskey born in Ireland in 1829 (personal note: Tully is super smooth and super delicious). Reservations are required, and this dinner starts at 7 pm, and is $75 per person inclusive. Call 215.794.4020 for more information and reservations.
3. 7th Annual Newtown Irish Festival
Thursday, March 16 through Sunday, March 19, Green Parrot, 240 N. Sycamore St., Newtown, PA
It’s time to gear up for the 7th Annual Newtown Irish Festival, a four-day-long party that starts Thursday, March 16 and ends Sunday, March 19. This event is family friendly and features live music, Irish step-dancing, traditional Irish food and drinks, and the fun 5K Shamrock Shuffle race. Also, there will be kid friendly activities such as face painting and balloon twisting. This event is hosted by the Green Parrot, a restaurant and pub in Newtown.
4. St. Paddy’s in the Pub
Friday, March 17, 4 – 9 pm, and Saturday, March 18, 2 – 9 pm, Peddler’s Pub, Peddler’s Village, Routes 202 & 263, Lahaska, PA
Get ready for some live entertainment and authentic Irish fare like Bangers & Mash, corned beef and cabbage, and Shepherd’s Pie. Be sure to make your reservations by calling 215.794.405. 5. St. Patrick’s at Bucks County Brewery
Friday, March 17, 1 pm, Bucks County Brewery, 31 Appletree Lane, Pipersville, PA
This Friday is St. Patrick’s Day, and Bucks County Brewery wants to celebrate with you. To kick off the celebration, the brewery is opening at 1 pm so you can “get your shamrock on early.” They will tap two special beers. Mulley’s Dry Irish Stout, is a roasted, super dry stout served on nitro so it’s nice and creamy. They will also tap a fresh batch of their perennial favorite, Mulley’s Tavern Red. This beer is slightly roasty with notes of caramel and toffee, so it’s a little sweet.
Smoke Factory BBQ Food Truck will be on premises serving up its BBQ specials, which will no doubt pair perfectly with the beer. The brewery will also have its Peach Saison, ESB, Rye Pale Ale, Golden Nectar Pale Ale, and Neapolitan Porter. Cheers!
6. St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
Friday, March 17, Washington House Restaurant, 136 N. Main St., Sellersville, PA
The Washington House Restaurant is celebrating the Irish with some classic corned beef and cabbage, and lamb stew, for only $17 each. There will be plenty of specials and beers on tap, so you can enjoy a hot meal and a cold brew!
7. St. Patrick’s Day
Friday, March 17, 4 pm, Rising Sun Inn, 898 Allentown Rd., Telford, PA
The Rising Sun Inn is having one big St. Patrick’s Day 
celebration. This Friday, the bar opens up at 4 pm, so head over for some Jameson and other drink specials. The evening also features traditional Irish fare, like ham and cabbage, corned beef and cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie, and a delicious a la carte menu.
Also, there will be Irish dancers in the RSI tavern, live music in the barn, and other ways to celebrate the night. Dancers begin at 9:30 pm and the music begins at 7 pm. There’s a $5 cover charge and you have to be 21 years or older to attend.
8. Day After St. Paddy’s Celebration
Saturday, March 18, 9 am – 5 pm, Doylestown Brewing Co., 52 E. State St., Doylestown, PA
Didn’t get your full St. Patrick’s Day fix on Friday? Good thing the Doylestown Brewing Co. is continuing the festivities on Saturday!
They’re having a big celebration starting at 9 am, with kegs and eggs. Then at 12 pm, watch the Ireland vs. England rugby match, and later, at 2 pm, enjoy live music from Seamus Kelleher, “Galway’s finest!”
You can also taste new beer releases, enjoy patio seating, corn hole, and more. Call the brewery for more information.
9. Locally Grown Showcase
Saturday, March 18, 11 am – 4 pm, Indian Creek Foundation, 420 Cowpath Rd., Souderton, PA
The Professional Women’s Group believes the Indian Valley Region is rich with healthy, fresh food choices, and they aim to connect new and old residents with all of the great resources this area has to offer. That’s what this weekend’s locally grown showcase is all about. Vendors will be selling a variety of locally sourced produced foods and goods, including organic meats, treats, produce, canned and jarred foods, honey, soaps, and more. Charities will have raffle prizes to raise donations. Rain, snow or shine!
10. Brunch at The Mansion Inn

You’ve probably seen us talk about The Mansion Inn’s Sunday Gravy nights, but this weekend, you need to head over to the inn for some great craft cocktails and brunch. While you eat and drink, enjoy the instrumental finger-style acoustic guitar sounds of Bunny Barnes.

Comfortfood & Kitchenette is a cozy, farm-to-table BYOB restaurant, tucked away on a back street, in an innocuous block of stores in Morrisville, PA. It’s one of Morrisville’s best kept secrets. The locals know about it but I think everyone else needs to know about it too.
