The daffodils are sending up their green leaves. The crocuses are blooming. Precious little seedlings are growing in farmers’ hoop houses and green houses all over the county, soon to be transplanted into the waiting soil. I think the snow may be finally gone (fingers crossed).
And we’re taking a spring break. Lots of stuff [...]
Bucks County Taste is taking a little time off for the holidays to enjoy food, family and friends. May your holiday be sweet, warm and bright, and full of good cheer with the ones you love.
With our warmest regards,
Lynne, Mark, Cody and Canta
Just a heads up to all our loyal readers. We may have some downtime this weekend for a software upgrade, so I apologize in advance if you have any trouble accessing the site. We’ve been having some hacking issues lately, so I’d really like to get this done sooner rather than later. [...]
A couple of things have been simmering in my little head these days, and I feel the need to share them with you all, my loyal readers.
Mark and I began this blog about sixteen months ago. We started it because we enjoy eating, specifically eating here in Bucks County. There is so much [...]
Well, we’ve finally done it. Decided to stop working for free, that is. We’ve been thrilled at the positive response to Bucks County Taste, and after sixteen months of building it up, we decided it was time to offer advertising. My mother will be so happy.
We also see it as another way to support [...]
I am SO pleased with myself. I, a lowly little blogger with no HTML experience, have managed to create a Google Map locating all our Bucks County Taste posts. So cool!
NOTE: This is a work in progress, nowhere near complete. My plans are to eventually have specific maps for where to find Bucks County meats, cheeses, fish, [...]

The latest Big Bear Natural Foods market in Bucks County has been spotted in Langhorne!
One of the original health food stores in the area, this family-owned business opened its first shop in Morrisville in 1971, expanded with three New Jersey locations (Ewing, Lambertville, and Pennington), [...]
Apologies for the lack of posts this week. We just got back from Maine – pictures of great food from the Schooner Heritage to follow – and I have been wallowing in the usual backlog of emails, junk mail, etc. Also getting ready for a dinner we are doing tomorrow night. We offered (again) a [...]
We’ll be away for the next week doing “research” in England, visiting my sister and brother-in-law in the Cotswolds. If we can manage it, we’ll let you know how the local ale and delicacies compare to Bucks County. Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy and Healthy New Year.
