You know the old weather saying about March? It comes in like a lion, and out like a lamb? I think this year it may be the opposite!
Nevermind. Stay in the moment, enjoy the weather, eat some delicious local food and skip worrying about climate change for a weekend.
We’ve got a farm potluck, […]
Spring? Well, maybe not. But we certainly got a taste of springtime this weekend. Although the nice weather may not last, it was fun seeing everyone shed some layers and bask in the sun.
Restaurants may not be putting out their deck furniture just yet so enjoy some of these new menus and specials in Bucks […]
Although you might want to bundle up and stay indoors, we’ve gathered a few food and wine filled events happening in Bucks County this weekend. Pick up some authentic cannolis, make fresh cheese at home, and pair your favorite cookies with a glass of wine.

In honor of the holiday, this week’s theme in Bucks County is all about the heart and making it happy. Fill your belly with warm food and wine, enjoy a dinner at a local French […]
Looks like that groundhog was right about this whole “six more weeks of winter” thing. Take some time in between shoveling today and plan your weekend.
After you dig out, get out and enjoy the great food in Bucks County. And if you are still thinking about where to go for Valentine’s Day, make your
Well Phil, you let us down. You’ve predicted six more weeks of winter, and although we can’t really blame you (you are just a groundhog!), we are still pretty disappointed.
Spring can’t be that far away, after all…it’s beginning to grow lighter in the evening, farms are opening up registration for their 2017 CSA share […]
I’m not normally one for sports, but at Super Bowl time, I start asking my friends the same question: “What are we going to eat?”
Let’s be real, without the chips and dip, wings, sliders, beer (or wine), and all the other goodies that come along with […]
Once you’ve been with someone for a while, it’s my understanding that priorities shift and you don’t always need to buy each other fancy, expensive items to show each other you care on February 14.
I have enough earrings, but you know what I can’t get enough of? Lobster. No wait, steak. And don’t forget the wine! […]
Wow! It’s almost February. Hard to tell with the lack of real winter weather we’ve had. Last week, Bucks County Taste visited a farm in Tinicum that produces maple syrup, rare here in Bucks County. But if we don’t get some cold nights, there won’t be any sap running. Yet another effect […]
You certainly can’t say you’re bored this weekend if you live in Bucks County. From Friday to Sunday, you’ll find foodie events that are low-key, affordable, classy, and just plain delicious. From the annual Burns’ poetry night with a Scottish dinner, to Winter Fest’s Beef n’ Brew event, there is something for every type of diner.
Despite temperatures being slightly warmer than what we would expect from January, there are still plenty of ways to celebrate the winter season this week. Try out delicious soups from restaurants all along the river, celebrate Liberty Hall Pizza’s anniversary, and sit back and relax at a local Hawaiian luau.
Warm soup, celebratory beer, hot chili (for a good cause), baked goods, church suppers, and Edgar Allan Poe. What more could you want? Enjoy January in Bucks County and nearby this weekend.

This weekend, I introduced my family to Indian cuisine, followed by traditional Mexican flavors. I thought they would be hesitant. But I guess we all have the foodie gene because they tried everything I served them. My motto has always been, “If you don’t try it at least once, you’ll never know if you like it.” […]
Got the winter blues? I know I have. (I’ve been stuck in the house for most of the past two weeks with this icky cold that is going around.)
Even though we’ve got some weird weather patterns in the next few days, enjoy the “heat” while you can and indulge in some great food in […]
After our snowy weekend, are you ready to venture out? Just because it’s the middle of winter, doesn’t mean our local food choices have diminished. That’s the beauty of living in the Delaware River Valley.
This week, try a new restaurant (or a new half-priced burger), luxuriate in a wine tasting dinner, and indulge in […]
