Sharon is my sister. I can honestly say, once you have eaten at her house, it's hard to go out to the finest restaurant you can find. The best part of the meals is the time we sit and talk. A typical Thanksgiving meal can last for 6-8 hours. My husband is a finiicky eater, so when I make something new, I just say, pretend we are at Sha's and then he tries it.

Bucks County provided both the challenge and the resources in pushing Sharon's cooking to the next level. The time and dedication needed to hunt down the right ingredients was fueled by the fact that the ingredients had to be there. Bucks County is an agricultural mecca where you can still find fresh brown eggs from a chicken and a nice milk fed suckling pig.....if you look hard enough, plus a quick trip to NYC just 110 minutes away to fill in the blanks - you can have it all.
Thanks MOM!!
